Santa Ana Officer… “responsible for the apprehension of hundreds of criminals and tens of thousands of dollars in narcotics and currency related to narcotics trafficking.” Sgt. Kozakowski, SAPD.
Let us introduce, BRONCO. He was born on August 11, 2001 in The Netherlands. The SAPD purchased him from Alderhorst International, which is the company that is involved with training such esteemed animals as the one involved with the Osama Bin Laden capture.

We took possession of Bronco as a police service dog in July of 2005 and his primary duties are (was) the apprehension of criminals. And, he does (did) it well. Bronco is responsible for the apprehension of hundreds of criminals and tens of thousands of dollars in narcotics and currency related to narcotics trafficking. Santa Anais a better place because of Bronco. Can it continue to be a better place because of you?
We recently received the news that Bronco will be medically retired, effective immediately.
“Of all of our worthy programs that we’ve sponsored, I believe that replacing Bronco will have the most immediate, dynamic effect to the safety on the streets, today” Tom Koutroulis, District Director, Waste Management, Inc., Chairman of the Board, SAPDF.
Time is not on our side. May we request your soonest-possible consideration? If you would you like to “be a part of it” you certainly may.
